Hello Everyone,
Yes, another new rider...I live in SW Oklahoma and am a little lonely down this way. I have a variety of bikes in the garage, my main one a bright orange kawi z-1000. I also have a 1988 Honda Hawk and a Triumph Daytona 675.
I joined this group for a few different reasons:
1. I need people to ride with!!! It is so lonely down this way!
2. Safety is a big priority with SIS and I appreciate that greatly. Not only am I a woman rider, but I also teach motorcycle safety classes and I have even taught women only classes!!!! In addition, I teach advanced rider training with the Lee Parks Total Control curriculum. I want to support a group whole-heartedly who understands the need for riders to constantly improve their skills by taking a variety of classes. There are so many good classes out there......
Can't wait to see you all on the road!

Hey Jen,
Glad to see you here on the site....
I live in New Jersey and am the retired state director for this state!
I am certain you will be meeting the OK sis soon and enjoying all of them.
Welcome to the site and perhaps one day we can ride together if the fates allow!

Jen, welcome to the site and to SIS!
We do have trips down that way to Petes Place, and sometimes to Arakansas for food at the Market Place.
We have Explore Oklahoma which sends ladies all over the state to various interesting places in the State of Oklahoma.
When the weather gets nicer we will start hitting the road.
Rode around for a couple of hours yesterday around town and it was pretty cool.
I AM SO READY TO RIDE.
I will work on getting the Explore Oklahoma info on this website.
I will send you a private message if we head your way.

Hi, kawi-z! Welcome to Sisters in Spirit. Where in SW OK are you? I have a friend in Norman and we love to ride to Medicine Park, Mt Scott, etc. Beautiful country.

We may have to meet up sometime for a ride! Last time we were down there it was so hot we had to hose ourselves down and ride wet -- portable air conditioning.

| yes let's do that! If you come soon, you can cool off with all of the water that flooded half my house this past week. You can imagine the look on my face when I found a two foot hole in my wall gushing water like a fire hydrant!!!! It only took out four rooms in the house though. |

I have a buddy that just started riding in the Lawton area. She willnot ride out by herself...and occasionaly if the weather is nice I get down to Lawton to ride with her. My husband and I made it down there 2 weekends ago, it was cold!!! But we had fun cruising the wildlife refuge. I wil probably be down that way again soon....e-mail me...and I can contact you when I am headed back down that way. The Hubby is back in Iraq, so it would be just the girls.
