I am always looking for ways to make the site better for you and was hoping to get your thoughts on the current features and possible features you would like to see in the future.
I am attaching a poll as well. _________________ K. Kappes |

I like the features. But if I could add something I would add a feature that showed which Journal had a new posting. There are only a few right now but later there will be many _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

When you use the quote button I'd like to see the contents in a box or something that makes it obvious you didn't retype it.

I want a bell to go off or a pop up window to come up when someone posts on the shout out box....other wise it is days sometimes before I see it. and I second wachee and wildhorses suggestions! _________________ ~~we ride under the same sun and rest under the same moon~~

OK, Ok.. I finally got off my lazy rear and fixed this. It was quite annoying.

As I have explained to Linda, with the current system we have now, this really is not a possibility. I will however keep looking for something a bit better.
Thanks for the suggestions. Keep em coming. _________________ K. Kappes |

I wanted to let everyone know that I will in the hopefully not to far off future be making some site upgrades. Along with these upgrades will come several new features that I believe you will like. For the main site, there will be a WYSWYG editor for posting stories. For those who are not familiar with this term. It stands for What You See is What You Get. It will work pretty much the same as Office Word or any other text editor, and a special feature for the admins, it will allow them to upload and add images directly into the news articles or any other item that currently has a text input box with the exception of the forums, , but it is not impossible to add to them as well.
The spell check system.
I plan on adding a new image gallery for you to try out. It has many more features and upload capabilities as well as for small video files.
One I think Linda would really like is an improved website membership approval system.
As well as some other minor fancies I have found. Right now I am waiting on the developer to get the registration feature that we use, up to be compatible with the upgraded system.
Thanks. _________________ K. Kappes |
