I would really appreciate it if there were online, STEP BY (baby) STEP, instructions on how I add a picture to my identification that shows up to the left of any forum submissions (like where the pic of my bike is now) AND how to get a picture here, in the body of the message. If my computer whizes aren't home I am unable to get things things done for myself. I need EASY, STEP by STEP instructions tho'---thanks
( i even need to know how to shrink my pictures so that they fit) _________________ ~~we ride under the same sun and rest under the same moon~~

I am not really sure what you mean, your image does show up to the left when you post in the forums. You can only have one image there. You can put others in your signature like wildhorse has done if that is what you are wanting to do.
If you want to change the one you have now, you have to have a program that will resize it to the specified image size. It needs to be no larger than 80x80 pixels and no larger than 6kb. You go to the forum, then to profile and at the bottom of the page you can upload it using the browse button in the avatar section.
I hope this helps. _________________ K. Kappes |

Tink I hope this helps!!!
The easiest way I have found to down-size a pic is to use the paint program that is on almost every computer. To find it click the start button→ All programs→ Accessories→ Paint
Then click file→ open and choose the picture that you want to down size.
Once you have the picture that you want, for safety purposes, go ahead and save it under a different name. (This is so that you don’t accidentally mess up the pic forever.)
Now to adjust the picture!!
Click image→ Stretch and Skew→ (this is where it takes some patience) in the Horizontal and Vertical boxes put a smaller number (ie 5, 10, etc.) then check the size by clicking image→ Attribute (make sure your units in Attribute is set for pixels) If Attributes shows that your pic is at least 80 pixel (width and height) or smaller, then you are done!!! Save your work!!!

Click “Your Account”
Click “Change Info”
Scroll down to the “Avatar Control Panel”
Scroll down to Upload Avatar from your machine: Click “Upload Through Forum Profile”
Scroll down to “Upload Avatar from your machine:” and click browse.
You will need to locate the pic that you want to use as your avatar.
Select it by clicking on it and clicking open.
Click “Submit”, if it was the right size this will pop up “Your profile has been updated Click here to return to the Index”, if it was too big then the same page will pop up and it will say that your avatar has to be 80x80 pixel. _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. KiKI,
I don't know how to do it either, so I benefit from it too. _________________ ~~we ride under the same sun and rest under the same moon~~

Ok Chickies I found an easier way to resize our photos to use as avatar!!
This site http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/ will resize them for you!!
Just follow their 3 steps:
* Step 1 is to select your Photo to resize and crop
* Step 2 is to set the size that is allowed on your Forum (for us it is 80)
* Step 3 Click "Resize" and we create your brand new Avatar from your
photo
It will show you a few different options of the picture after it has been resized and cropped. Pick which one you like and then right-click it and save it to your computer. Then you can upload it to the site as previously discussed.
This is much easier!!! _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

| As soon as the weather turns a bit nicer, I shall attempt to swim over the mud puddles to the shed which houses the Black Beauty, clean her up, dust her off and away I'll go -- We'll go. |

You'd laugh, but we had both bikes in our family room for the longest time while the shed was being organized. How funny. that's why we live in Jackson.
We are actually plannin on puttin an addition on the house, laundry room/mud room, bathroom and garage. First we have to accomplish the inside a bit more. Money Pit. |

I DEFINITELY would not laugh. When it was cold I begged David to let me pout 'Baby Girl' in the Dinning room but he wouldn't let me......If he had, she would have been all decked out in her rhinestones by now! LOL _________________ ~~we ride under the same sun and rest under the same moon~~
