Hello All,
I just wanted to touch base...haven't posted in a while. I was riding with my hubby a couple of weeks ago and we went through Stilwell and Westville...Thought about you guys while we were riding through...If I had of know that we would be there, I would have tried to say hey on the way through.

I do have a question...At the rally someone was buffing scratches out of windshields and face shields. Well, I met so many people that weekend I can't remember who it was. I can picture her but I can't come up with the name so I can contact her. Anyway, I would like her to email me. I need to ask her where she got her kit or if we could possibly get together one day...I laid my bike down on a ride (my husband's went down too) and the side of the windshield is all scratched up. All the other damage is being fixed now, but I wanted to repair the windshield if possible, rather than replace it.

As soon as everything is fixed and all is healed, I will be making a run to Eureka Springs (that is where we were headed when the bikes went down). I have been trying to make it to ES for the past two months but something always comes up! Very frustrating!

When you guys in Eastern OK are going to ride, please let me know and if it is possible I would like to ride with you. I miss my crazy bike ridin' SIS's. That weekend was one of the best times I have had in a LONGGGGG time and meeting everyone was truly one of the highlights of my year.

If all goes right, I will be at Bikes, Blues, & BBQ this year so give me a shout and we can meet up for a little bit.

I must sound goofy, but it is lonely on this side of the border Smile And I don't know the good places to ride on that side of the border. I have found some pretty good twisties lately and can't wait to get back on the bike to find some more.

Everyone take care and hello to all the new members!

Caren

I wasn't at the rally this year but I think Wy (WildOne) was the one that was going to buff the windshields. She just has a drumel tool and a soft padded tool that goes with it. She doens't really have a e-mail that works but if you give me you phone number, I will have her call you with what all she does. She works for UPS and it would be hard for you to catch her at home. You can pm me if you want. Wy was the tall skinny, dark headed, and she usually rides with a yellow jacket so she is visible.

HotFlash, good to hear from you! I have been so busy travelling lately I finally got to spend a week with my family last week.

Me and Carlota went on a road trip last month and road the pig trail.

That is pretty. Pretty scary when it is wet though.

I am planning to go to BB&BQ. PM me your e-mail or send an e-mail the OK state director and I will forward the details once I know.

Once I have your e-mail I will forward Tulsa's calendar to you .

Sorry to hear about your accident. It sounds like more damage was done to the bike and that can always be fixed.

Take Care and hopefully we will get to see you soon.

Be patient with me responding as am on the road yet again.

Thanks,
Donna

Hey There HotFlash- Wynnona is Rowdy (not wildone) who did the buffing/scratch repair at the Rally and she did use a dremel. We are planning a ride to Talahina/Talamina Drive for Oct. 18th for the Explore OK ride - something to keep in mind. Hope we will get a chance to see you again!

Thank you for the phone calls and emails. Thank you Wy for giving me a call....guess I'll have to bite the bullet on the windshield - Oh Well.
Good news is is that I can pick up my bike tonite after work (if it isn't raining)
Have a great weekend - stay dry and stay safe
